ok I am going totally nuts here. I have found the pots & vase BUT for the life of me i can not find that spear. I have searched the whole island a hundred times (well dang close to it lol) & it is no wheres. I have an adept scientist does he have to be higher up before the spear appears or is it hidden in or behind something? tyvm for your help.

It's there. Have you tried quiting the game and opening it again to see if it changes hiding places?

They are in different places each game...I have a magic faction game and then the spear was by the lift and a nature faction game...then it was over by the rose plant...it looks like the spear in vv2....what they used to clear the thorny bushes and vines covering the walls with...hope this helps a bit...

It won't change hiding places once you have started a game. Some of the items blend in very well with the surroundings - especially that one.
