I'm going on vacation (leaving tomorrow) and I'll be changing time zones, so I'm wondering... Is it safe for me to change the time on my laptop? I have VV2 and PT, both are paused, and I plan to back up the save game files on a separate removable storage drive.

It's usually safe to change time zones if you observe a couple of precautions:

1. It's always safer if the game(s) are paused if your travels will result in changing the clock more than a few hours.
2. Never launch the game if the time on your computer's system clock is earlier than the timestamp on the savegame files. If you have to adjust time "backwards" at any point during your vacation, wait for the time on the computer's clock to be later than the savegame timestamps before you play the game again.

I'm headed for the east coast of the US, so I have to adjust the time forward an hour while I'm there and then shift back again when I get home.
(Besides, I'm not sure I'll even have time to do more on my laptop other than checking email! )
