I chose magic, I wanted to accumulate tech points more quickly. I figured that the food supply would replenish at a rate quick enough to sustain life anyway....

Interesting. So far nine have chosen Nature but only two Magic.

I chose Nature only because it "will replenish your food sources more quickly". I thought it would be the safest for my first game, but I do plan to choose Magic in another game.

you wont notice what Nature gives you untill your on your second buy from them, and after you finish a few puzzles I'm not gonna tell about, 'cause i got pretty far, don't wanna spoil it for ppl... but I'm running 2 games 1 Magic, & 1 Nature, just to see how they differ it's hard to tell untill your about 24 hour's into it! That's right! I haven't been to sleep or left this chair('cept for a shower, I was gamey! LOL ) pun intended! very kewl, to have the choice guy's! Thank's LDW!!!!! :):):):)

Wow, more than half the people who posted on this thread has Nature. But I chose Magic, so far, nothing has really happened, maybe its cause im not doing the right things, or cause i only have lvl 1, lol

Magic. So far so good. I think my tribe will survive until i find more means of food.

Well i chose nature but regret it we need 150,000 to get level 2 sci which would be level 1 magic or so, and yea magic seems better nature is only good if ur away from computer like me and cant see the game all the time

I chose nature for my first tribe now I'm working on my second tribe and chose magic. I figured having 2 tribes would be the best way to tell any differences in the factions

I choose Magic fr the tribe n completed the game, n U wont beleve tht none of my villager died of Starvation. My max population now is 100 but not a single one died of starvation.

I chose magic as well and none died of starvation - you just have to control the birth rate and everything may be ok.

yes and make sure you watch them very closely at the start, collect mushrooms and see to it that you let them farm whenever there's fruit or honey available

I chose magic, almost finished the game, all puzzles done, all tech except level 3 magic done, work began on clothing hut, 2500 some food, about 45k tech, 21 population(dont worry, its growing). Im on ipod version, there is little difference though.

I chose nature after comparing the two.

Magic lets you accumulate tech points quicker, which isn't very useful in the long run. You can also learn to accumulate them faster with the science skill, and after learning all of the techs, you don't really need any more unless you really want different clothes for all your villagers.

Nature lets you regenerate food faster, which is much more important in the short run, and also in long run. You'll always need food, so you might as well make sure there is a lot of it.

i did one of each - i chose nature 1st and then when id completed that game i started again and chose magic - none of my villagers starved to death or anything though

Nature, cause on lvl 3 it makes your people live longer.
