First I love the game. But do have a question, where is the high scores area, to post for global high scores like the last twoo VV games?
So far, have figured out the hive, the alchemy area and got a chief, chose nature as my faction, not sure of much else yet, but loving every second of it, oh yeah, planted some kind of tree

I know everyone else is having as much fun as I am

BTW, my hubby thanks you, he was tired of me checking everyday and still finding 99%...lol

The stats function and leader board have been replaced by the Awards feature in VV3.

The awards are cool, but I have to admit that I miss the stats. I liked being able to see how many hours I'd played, how much stuff I'd collected, and all that.

I do wish that there was a way to see how many mushrooms and hours I have played also... but I don't miss the leaderboard.

I never really paid attention to the leaderboard, but the stats were fun to check-out.

i love vv3 and the awards idea but i think maybe it would be better if it said how close you were to getting the awards for example saying how many mushrooms out of a hundred you have!!!

I like the new award section, because it gives you other goals, including puzzles. I don't miss the leader board. I was never on the leader board, and it was kind of annoying to see how good other people were while I was far behind. \:\(

I miss the stats to tell me how long i've been playing, how many pregnant, villagers how many elders, how many events etc the awards is ok but i think the stats meant you could see how you are doing as you were trying to achieve etc.

While I do like the awards section, I always looked at my stats on VV2. Personally, I wish we had both, an awards section and the actual stats. Ah well, we all can't get our wishes.

I liked the leader boards, I still have both 1 & 2 playing, admittedly i only have the golden child left but cant bring myself to end v1. but i am no. 1 in how long ive played the game lol. in v2 i have 90 villagers still and still havent got all the collectables. i love all the vv games, theyre brilliant, i take my hat off to the makers for such a fantastic real life game! thank you. i do like the new stats but prefer the old one as people have already said, i like to check my stats see how many babies ive had or what ive collected and so on. I have 3 vv3 games on the go and as they are all started at different times there are different things going on. its great.

I also like the new rewards page, but I wish they kept the stats too. I don't care for the leader board and never paid attention to that anyway. I'd also would have liked it if we could have gotten a reward to appear in game, even if it was just a decoration like you now get when you finish collections (Yay for version 1.00.04).

Some ideas:
Abundant Security - Food Bin Changes Design
Ancient Elder - New flower by the graveyard
Alchemy R Us - New cauldron for the alchemy room (maybe make it a gold color?)
Child Prodigy - Not sure on this one
Jack of All Trades - The ones who reach this should at least have it as a title and not just Esteemed Elder
Fungus Among Us - A mushroom is carved out of stone for decoration
Legendary Leader - Add a new design in the amphitheater where the robe hangs
Prolific Procreation - Not sure on this one
Tech Wonders - Some new object for the science room
The Doctor Is In - Some new object or design for the Medical Room.

My two cents worth: I would MUCH rather have my stats page. I pasrticularly like keeping track of # of babies, triplets, twins, mushrooms.

I love the Award screen, but I miss the screen that let you keep track of HOW MANY mushrooms were collected, HOW MANY elders you have, etc. Will that screen come back (maybe with the Awards screen, as well), in VV4?

I have to agree- I check my stats all the time. I don't care what place I'm at on the "leaderboard" but I love seeing how many triplets I have - how many hours my village has been played. Especially when it becomes well established. . . while, though - my one village I probably shouldn't be proud of how many hours old it is! >.<

I do hope that we could have both in the next *ooo oooo when it comin' out!?* VV game!! I do really miss the stats!!

I like the awards *finished the puzzles 4 days ago, and have only 2 more awards left to get, but it is still fun and new!* but also miss the stats. Didn't care quick as much about there not being a leaderboard, but I really liked the Stats. Maybe on the next one some type of Hybrid? \:\)

I like the new rewards page, but as everyone else says having a stats page lets you know how many hours played, twins, triplets ect you have acheived. It would of been nice to have both but then VV3 might of taken longer to come out & i know we would'nt of wanted that.... Also its nice to have changes in each game. Maybe VV4 may have both we shall have to wait & see. LDW listened to what people were saying they would like in VV3 & tried to put in as much as they could. Well done & thank you LDW for bringing out another great game that gives us hours & hours of play... jlb67

I hate the awards section.

I'm not getting very many mushrooms at all and it'll take me forever to get any of the other awards.

Perhaps for Child Prodigy and Prolific Procreation, they can have special clothes or a special title.
A couple of my awards happened overnight while I was simply trying to get tech points and then had to figure out who did what. lol

Anyway, even though I miss the stats, I love the new awards! It's giving me something more to do with my villagers. \:D

Awards are good! But stats were good too. If it's an issue of maintaining the server, I don't NEED to compare myself to others; just being able to see my own stats would be fine.

I love the awards and love there is no leaderboard.

I really like the idea of rewards for the awards too even if it is a decoration.

However, while the leaderboards were a crock (in that they could be easily manipulated and that they shouldn't matter and bought out pettiness, [censored] and other such not so nice characteristics in a lot of players), I don't see why stats can't still be done.

It is nice to see how many mushrooms there are or babies.
In fact, I think it would be interesting to take these even furthur... I know I've had more red feathers than anything else \:D

Honestly . . . I have no idea how such a 'rank' would be calculated. 'Success' in VV is very hard to quantify.

I also like having the awards better than the leader board since I DID feel a little pressured by it.
Although I also liked knowing how many mushrooms I collected and how many hours I've played etc.
It seems to be one of those paradox thingies.
If I had to choose though I would probably choose the awards over the leaderboard.
Just to throw my two cents in.

Yep, i miss the leader board. For many reasons. Mostly, i like comparing myself to others' progress, but mostly, to see how close i am to finding all required things... One thing i am having issues with is the inability to find rare collectibles. The chief does NOT point to rare items, but to the next item no matter rarity or commonality and then you have to wait another 24 hours for that chance to be shown again that you are not shown a rare item... FRUSTRATING. And please, tell me, what does the chief's lecturing do for the children and adults... So far i can see no reason for doing so.. And why did everything i build on my first go round go kablooie whilst i was sleeping in realtime?

The chief does not physically point to a rare collectible. However, a rare collectible will appear on the map; it's unlikely, though, to be in the direction the chief is pointing. If you are finding non-rare collectibles they are a bonus. Often two or three collectibles will appear around the same time at all stages of the game.

The chief lecturing the whole tribe serves no 'useful' purpose as such.

The chief lecturing the children Does have a purpose though, when you have level two leadership.

Just put the chief onto a child once every 24 hours, and then all the children will run for a lecture. They will stand there for a while then a little sparkle will appear above their head and they gain one bar of skill.

This is Really useful, as it saves you training them when they get to 14, they can start straight away and know what to do \:D

I liked the Awards and I must admit I miss the leader board in my states to see how of thiis and that I had. for example so many babies

I also noticed that if you paused the game over night and still can get your chief to lecture children at24 hours. I did this when I first started the game and most of the children had all 5 skills some higher than others and I never run out of food

Correct. All chief timers operate on real time, not game time. Therefore you will be able to use his abilities many times within a single Isola year, if you keep the game paused.

I, too, miss the "leaderboard" stats page. I also *love* the awards page. It's perfect for those of us who could never come close to the top of the stats list... it's our own personal 'leaderboard'. However, I agree with 'YummyMummy' that it would be cool if the awards page had some kind of progress indicator for some of the awards. Either way, like most here have said, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE VV3 and its various additions!!! Well done, LDW! You've outdone yourselves once again!

I think it would be nice to have stats for my personal use, but I think a stats leaderboard is just not workable without more anti-cheat measures in the game.

And seeing as I like messing with things I can't mess with, mere image-modding is not enough for me; if more stringent measures were taken against cheating, I would want more extensive support for mods. For example, the ability to script your own events, triggers, and etc into the game, which could utilize custom images; this would provide support, limited to what the script could provide, for custom-making puzzles.

It doesn't have to be a lot; I don't have to be able to re-write the whole game. But support for making some tasks of my own would be very nice. One of the first things I would write, if a mod for it didn't exist, is a building task for VV3 that could be 'reset' so that builders could be trained at any time.

Casual or not, I think we all know people often take it more seriously than that; if I had that much to dig into, I probably would have been making my own island, too.

I don't expect any such system would ever give a modder the flexibility that the devs have in making their puzzles; but even just being able to re-locate the old puzzles would go a long way to creating a 'new' island without the constant positional reminders that the puzzles are all in the same place, and solved the same way.

If we were permitted to determine what skills were required for a task, combining that with the ability to manipulate images, you could easily make 'new', totally unrecognizable as being an old puzzle with a different location and skill requirement.

That having been said . . . yes, I want that. I also want a motorcycle, but I don't expect to get that, either. \:\)
