I did read all your posts Complexity and found them very helpful. I was already using "uniforms" for the different skills and starting them all on farming, but I think you are definitely right on with the training method. Using your method of training them on all skills young also lets me know who the smart ones are. I've started to grade them with A B C etc.
I do it slightly different in that I do building second and researching last. Researching takes much much less time than either fishing or building. At the very beginning with no skills inherited from parents, I was putting them where I needed them so I know on average it takes approx. 9 - 10 years to master researching, and approx. 18 - 19 to master fishing (starting at 14). I never started anyone at 14 with no inherited skill on building, but I know it takes A LOT longer to master than fishing. I'm sure your tips will help them become EE's quite a bit faster. Thank you so much for posting this!
I am currently at 47 elders! The men wear the black outfit with the striped shirt and the women wear the white gown. They are all healers thanks to you and are comfortably retired. They do whatever they want, and seem to mostly enjoy fishing. I checked my logs and all of my villagers have died of old age. The eldest was only 77 though.
My smarter villagers seem to become elders around their late 50s. The females who've had a few children around early to mid 60's. I've only had 4 female master parents. They each had between 9 - 11 children. I also don't breed anyone until they have mastered at least fishing. If they happen to be one of my selected special breeders, I help them along a bit to help them get mastered faster. However, I've also started to look at the "intelligence" factor. I am curious as to whether that is an inherited factor. That's for the other thread though

I will try your suggestion! I've only used the Mrs. Robinson method on one female. She was just so close and was too old to start building. It was very amusing. She had a favorite "victim" and I would drag them to the hut and she'd keep him there for at least 15 minutes at a time. LOL!
