I would like to see a working school for the children, also. Maybe even boost their skills when they attend. I notice in VV2, there is no school. In VV1 the school was there, but the children didn't really attend.

Yeah, they just stood by the school and stared. It'd be nice to see the kids doing something more to help. I mean, if these people were IRL stranded, they'd have kids doing everything they could.

A few more things:

Better accuracy in the game clock, to that it doesn't take an hour to count down 10 minutes on crops or nursing moms (I have experianced this).

Perhaps a 'Crisis' button that you can use once during the game if you get low on food.

The addition of more skills for villagers to learn, e.g. teaching.

More interaction between villagers, such as relationships based on work ethic. The villager that swims in the pond all day isn't as liked as the dilligent worker, say. The most respected villager gains the title of village head.

I think the biggest problem I have with VV's is getting around. It would be a lot easier on the wrist if you were able to use arrow keys to move around. As you can't see items to get in map mode, you have to keep moving almost constantly. Thanks for listening

you can move around by using the numbers on the Num pad. and once you get level 3 exploration, you can see the items in map mode.

A femail has to have about 11 babies, to become a master parent.

How about a map editor, with scripts. You could then create your own virtual island, or add to the exsisting one.

How about having pets, eg monkeys.

Let the villagers who aren't being monitored at the time they come of age to work, pick a profession and start working on their own. When I come home from a 12hr shift and get into my game, I have 40-50 year old villagers who have no skills at all. They have just been sitting around all day for years being bored and unsure what to do. That isn't realistic. Unless they are getting unemployment or disability. Maybe they can teach the kids or tell stories so they can gain some sort of skills.
