How you go about activating the games on the laptop depends upon where you bought them. Generally, you're allowed to download and reinstall the game on a different computer using the activation process provided by the distributor. There's usually a link that says something like "Already paid" on the activation screen, and you'll get instructions for activating when you click that. \:\)

You should look on the old computer for the savegame files from your old games. For Windows the files are in Program Files => Virtual Villagers. They are named Isola**.ldw (where ** is a number). The single-digit numbers are your "primary" savegame files and are numbered 1-5 (corresponding to the player slots). The two-digit numbers are the "backup" savegame files, and are numbered 21-25. There is also a file Isola0.ldw which contains settings.

Copy those files to the new computer and they should work.

Has anyone found that villagers often "hop" on one foot along the dam after they've finished studying the strange plant next to it and have decided to go into the field? I've seen that a few times now. I had four of them doing it at the same time once.

I've also seen some of them going off the "wrong" end when diving into the pool and they stay there, sort of walking in the air as though they were trying to jump onto the strange black plant next to the waterfall but they don't get anywhere and I have to rescue them.
