Hi Tara,
I need to know what platform you are referring to. Currently, Fish Tycoon is available for Windows PC, Palm OS and Pocket PC. Village Sim is for now only available for Palm OS (treo 650, etc).

Please also tell me where you bought the games from, so that I can better help you.
Thanks

Tara, the Palm versions of those games aren't available in 320x480 resolution. There is a good discussion about what you're seeing in this thread.

"Hand" movements are slow and erratic on my pc. How do I fix this? Restarting doesn't help. It's Windows ME.

What you're seeing is caused by the fact that Fish Tycoon is designed to give priority to any other application that's running, whether it's in foreground or background mode - even system processes. So the 'jerkiness' that you sometimes see is not a bug in the program, but a result of Fish Tycoon yielding priority to another application or process. It was an implementation decision that was made in order to keep Fish Tycoon from affecting system and other application performance, and to allow people to run FT as more or less a 'background' application (since its real-time design doesn't require constant attention to make progress in the game). You can improve the performance of Fish Tycoon by closing all other applications that don't need to be running.

Could you be more specific about the problem that you're having?

yes sorry, i'm running windows ME, when i start the game, it says i can only play in 16 or 32 bit color for windowed mode, i was using 24 bit for the demo. when i switch to 16 bit color, i get a blank screen when i start the game, altho the sound works.

You should set your color mode back to 24 or even 32 bits. That will fix your problem.
