Actually, according to LadyCFII, the last 5% of the progress bar for Plant Tycoon was beta.

She says so here.

And I agree with Rockmower, I have a strong suspicion that VV3 is already in beta testing. I don't know for sure, but I have some reasons which seemingly support my suspicions. \:\)
