I've been getting a lot of food thanks to that gong...

I believe that's correct. From what I've heard thus far, the Gong granting luck can result in two different things: an island event which is good for the villagers (good luck) or an island event which is bad for the villagers (bad luck). At least that's what I've heard before. I could be wrong though.

I have received luck once but was unable to figure out what it exactly did because if it added food or tech I wouldn't be able to tell since I never pay any attention to either of these as the tribe is several months old and have an abundance of both.

I've also had takes youth and never could figure out who because with a 100 plus tribesmen I don't really know who is who except for one or two that stand out.

(I keep telling myself that I will let the tribe drop down to about 50 so I can keep up with who is who then I turn around and there are babies! It seems whenever the gong grants wisdom it is almost always making a guy a master parent and you know what that means!

When the gong granted luck several times and it has been good luck, but on one acasion when the gong granted luck I got the event of foil passing all the food was gone on 0

Every time before I ring the gong, I make the restoring stew and make sure every villager is completely healthy. Then I make sure I have more restoring stew ready and waiting just in case it takes health.

I had a 14 year old girl ring the gong, and it took away her health, but she didn't die. I was able to immediately restore her with the stew. Her health kept going down for awhile, but I could put her on the stew to keep restoring her.

Others get sick, but I make sure that each and every villager is trained in healing before any other task. I actually start them healing others while still a child. That way, they are all doctors in a sense. This seems to work pretty good. It also gives the real doctors a chance to gain healing points while some of the others increase their healing points so much that I make them official doctors.

This is with my original tribe of 115 villagers. That means I have 115 doctors running around!

I rang the Gong one day and it granted Fertility, and all of the childbearing women became pregnant by a dark haired man, little Pink Petals rained down on the village... It was very strange. besides that I've gotten everything mentioned here, except the Vision, of a ghost in the graveyard, That would be Kewl!

When the gong is rung, it will display different icons all over it. For example, it just granted wisdom, and it had sparkles all over when it was rung. When it takes health, it has green/gray chemical vapors all over. These icons can help determine what the gong is granting, be it a bad thing or good.

So I think the answer to whether the luck is good or bad may lie in what icons it displays when it's rung. Does anyone know what icons it shows, and does it always show the same icons when it grants luck?

what happens when the gong takes youth? this is the first ive seen this one and I dont know what it means. Also is it important if the gong is wrung at all?

Hi, I was wondering what is the restoring stew? I just had a gong that takes youth, what does that mean?

Woofy: In fact I don't know what happen exactly because it happened to me as I had the max of the population and I didn't find (and didn't search for a long time) if there is a kid who became adult; or a young adult who became elderly or something else! But, it'd be the opposite of when the gong "gives youth"! :confusing:
