I just found this site with old school dos games that were cool when I was a little nugget...

I think it would be really fun to do a type of Virtual Villagers set on another planet in space. Like the people have to escape earth because of some catastrophe, so they just shoot off into space, and this is where the few that survived landed. It could have some interaction with intelligent life on the planet, terraforming perhaps, finding a source of water, etc.

The breeding games (Fish Tycoon, Plant Tycoon) could also be branched into other areas, like "Canine Tycoon" (which could be lots of fun, because the parentage could be set up so that you could have some idea of the traits being given to the puppies, just like with real dog breeding) or any other animal that has lots of variants. You could actually do something like "Petri Tycoon" where you breed and combine various bacteria for beneficial (or not so) activity.

Yeah, there is already one like that. It's called Roller Coaster Tycoon - starts small like a fair and then builds... and builds... and builds. I have it.

I also have an idea. I just thought of it as I was talking in the chat box over ---------> there.

Ok..I now there are over 10 if not more, tycoon games out there. I was talking to them when a light bulb went off. How bout..theme park tycoon. Yes there are many I now. But heres the difference.
You now you guys have villagers. Well blend villagers with theme park. They have to clear the land, and build it. They have to harvest all the wood. They kill for the food. They do it ALL. You have goals to get to also.

I been thinking on the same thing about space. My idea is how about a game called Virtural villagers discover space travel well into the future. They get lost in space by going through a black hole in space so milion miles from earth they come across a abandend space station which could hold a poperlation of ie 150. So our 7 space travelers then have learn to servive one or two of them could be children that came with their parents. It is up to the guiding hand to help them to crack any puzzles on the space station. the first puzzle could be the oxygin tanks, then it would say cracked your first puzzle your space travelers will have planty of air and wont need wear their space suits as often. Still have the events like a space _bug_ has hit the traverlers and made them sick or good event alien did something to research table got more tec points.
So it could be on the same line as VV1 and VV2 but intirly 16 different puzzles to solve.

That sounds nice, but I'm just now getting use to them wearing sunglasses, hats, mini skirts and boots. I'll problem freak out seeing my cute little villagers in space suits.

I know all about mushroom, as I work on a mushroom farm and there is a picture list of all the deseases and investation that you got to trash is about 24 pics of deseas and two type of _bug_ flys and red mites.

It'd be a bit of a busman's holiday if you played that, then, Ann.

I wonder, does any member of the forum work in a nursery or an aquarium and play PT or FT?
