Well, I want to make more than one child at once, but I want to be able to tell whose kids are whose, and not just by guessing. So is there really no way to tell which kid belongs to which parents? I don't mean when parents go indoors while I'm not around. I mean when parents go indoors while I'm around. I don't know whose children are whose once they turn two years old. So is there any way to tell?

If you breeded a mom and a dad with, say, farming exp, and then another couple with building exp, the child from farming parents should get farming experience and the builder's child should get building exp. That's how I tell.

Oh my gosh, brilliant idea! I actually did that for when I had a certain event and I had two kids running around instead just the one the couple had made. So I just looked for the kid that had the skills, and viola! Thanks for reminding me!

I cheat a little bit...I rename all my villagers using names like Kamiko and Tanari and Mekolu and Rosita. All the males have names that end in O or U and the females have names that end in A or I. Then when they have a baby, I use part of each name for the baby. So if Kamiko and Tanari have a boy, his name will be Tamiko...a girl would be named Kanari. A second of each child would be Tanako and Kamiri.

Thats a good way to remember !

As I recall, When you go to a child's detail screen (up to age 14) it will say "son of xxxx" or "daughter of xxxx." I think you have to have your mouse pointer on the child's picture, but I don't recall for sure.

That works for both VV2 and VV3 but not for VV1, which is what section this post is in.
