I have finished VV2 and am just seeing how many Totems I can earn. However, now none of the villagers are Esteem Elders, even after they master 3 skills. I have about 30 totems but none of the newer ones are appearing. Any suggestions?

Well, there's my answer, I have 50. What a bummer.

I wish there were unlimited totems; that would be cool... Cool, but maybe annoying.

I wish they didn't even have the 50. They're a pain. I finally stacked them on top of each other in the bottom left corner just to get them off the game board.

I think I would have liked it better if there was a "totem collection" page instead of having all those big totems all over the place. Or maybe if they were smaller and had a place to go that's out of the way.

I think it was LadyCFII that made a mod for smaller totems. Not sure now as I accidently found her post by reading some of the other threads. I downloaded it and love it!! Even though I never had 50 totems, the small size suits me much better!

Before I go to the trouble of downloading and installing it, can you answer a quick question? Does the "clickable" space shrink to match the smaller totem? I might actually put them somewhere other than the corner if I can fix their size, especially since I have all of my collectables so I don't have to worry about them being hidden by the totems now.

No, graphic mods don't change the game's perception of the object, so you'll have to click above the totem to pick it up. However, I've found that it's really not a problem, and it doesn't adversely affect anything else in the game. It's no worse than having to click at the base of the coconut tree to drag a wayward villager out of the tree and back to work elsewhere.

yep 50 is the limit! but i guess anymore would be too crowded
