Hi all ,Im in need off some help or advice 8 of my villages built a raft and went to explore southside of the island will they come back or are they my beginnings of vv3 I also have number 1 rank for highest population and im doing very well but i cant get my last gong piece can anyone help thanks

Your villagers will not come back (sorry) but you got it right!
That is most likely the beginning of VV3!
You can check out some help on your last gong piece in the vv2 guide

I purchased vv2 two months ago is it faulty is that why i cant get last piece of gong im getting fed up trying

It might be faulty if you are following the instructions in the guides correctly and it still doesn't work. See this sticky post in the VV2 forum.

I'm missing something... they built a RAFT?!?! This is VV2, right?? How did you know they built it, how do you know 8 are missing? (My villagers are leading their own lives now at 3800 hours, maybe I missed it while I was just checking in??)

It's an island event. Many people play the game for ages without ever seeing it. Effectively it means that you lose eight able-bodied villagers from your tribe. It's not quite so bad as it might seem, though, as it only happens when your tribe is at or near the population maximum, so the missing villagers don't have a really bad impact on the game, and they are usually swiftly replaced by new babies.

Thanks! It's nice to know that I've still got something to look forward to instead of just ocassionally making sure there are some healers, etc!! No worries about losing 8 at all, they wouldn't go off to explore if there was much of a chance of it depleting the tribe... on the other hand, why were only a couple of adults left with the kids and then they died off??
