I agree; keeping the kids penned up would spoil the game for me, too. It should also be remembered that the children provide hints on solving some of the puzzles by watching their actions. While we may not need them after having played through the game a few times, they are very useful to new players. And remember - we'll all be new players of VV3!

they do have eye color
i have seen green , black/brown , blue , and red .

It's kinda difficult for me to writte 'cause I'm not from a english speaking country so have patience with me :P... Here are my opinions for VV3:

*The social structure of the villagers should be based on monogamy.
*The villagers should have some kind of familiy tree, that would be fun :P.
*A child villager should be like his parents.
*The villagers should be able to hunt and domesticate animals.
*The villagers should have pets.
*The villagers should be able to explore the entire island.
*The villagers should have some kind of nursery station.
*The villagers should be able to cook.
*The villagers should be able to have some kind of "memories" like the sims.
*There should be some kind of hidden technologies.

*THE VILLAGERS SHOULD SLEEP!!!

These are good ideas!

um i don't know if someone brought this up but when i read about the parenting when they have kids they should have the choice of having either boy or girl or both even. How about having the choice of having twins or a single child. And to give that child at birth a little bit of everything like parenting etc. not much but at least 10 percent (of what their parents have). Oh and let them even have a few fruit trees on the island, come tropical island remember there has to be a bananna tree somewhere.

oh and more chance cards those are fun and let us pick where to put the points or should i say who get the extra farming etc.

I dont think u should be able to pick what child u get Bot/Girl that is not how it is don in the real life. U get what u get so that would make the game not as fun as it is now. Being able to decide what to have is not a good idea at least I dont think so

Yeah, let everything happen naturally and randomly. Just like real life. The game is too balanced and civilized if you pick the gender of your baby. The fruit trees are a good idea, and so is the 10% thing.

Biggest thing I want, is an easier way to find members. W/ VV2 I know you added something to sort from sickest/age etc, but you still had to go through a lot to find something. Maybe have specific groups. Male/female, the skills they are building, age range, sick.
As for the mothers nursing for two years, come on, it makes sense. Men can't nurse. It's a deserted island, they don't get bottles.
I think having a tribe with a culture of monogomy would be nice. But I won't hold my breath for it.
