I only read this halfway through, (Made it to page 20, I think) before I got tired. But I had to chime in to say that I liked a lot of the suggestions I read. One thing I particularly liked was the idea of the destruction of huts from weather or other events. I also like the blacksmith idea and the upgrade of huts. I get frustrated trying to get villagers to attain Master Builder once all the building is completed and have them constantly checking huts that are in good condition. In that same line, I would also love to see a table at the hospital so healers can research like scientists, so it's easier for a villager to become a Master Healer. I also love the marriage idea. I am a little eeked out by parents mating with their children or one guy fathering a whole village. I let my kids play this game, but am concerned somewhat with the values that teaches. While I understand that this is just a game I am still a little disturbed that my girls see the villagers hop in the hut with so many different people. I really like the idea of marrying two villagers so they only mate with each other. One thing that I would love to see, but only saw one other person post this, more variation in the skin tone of the villagers. I've only noticed two skin tones, pale Caucasian and tanned Caucasian. I would love to see some darker skin colors, maybe a total of four or five. I understand that this might make the breeding harder to program, with the kids looking like the parents. Still would be neat to see, though. Love the games! I have both VV and VV2, and am looking forward to VV3. I know whatever changes you make it will be great!

I liked the Golden Child. I don't understand why people hate him so much! They need to put a super person in VV3. Someone different. Someone that can fly. Like instead of walking they fly everywhere. You just click on them place them on the ground and fly somewhere else. And maybe there job is to catch special birds for food. Also their first child (boy/girl) flies too. Maybe a master farmer (with level 3 harvesting) sees a dead bird in a tree. He climbs up, then climbs down, takes it to the fire and prepares it for eating. Then he eats it and passes out. (Hear is another suggestion) A doctor comes running to him, takes him to the hopital. The guy wakes up and starts flying around. Use him for something special too. You can think of that. You can also think of his name. Don't make him "Make parties" that part we could do without.
Another thing is when people die, don't make a skeleton appear in the Village Center. Make them fall down and you see their body laying right where they were. Don't make them disappear and reappear in Village Center. Also, have funerals. Make builders gain skill quicker too.

Yo peeps, my idea is that every time you complete a puzzle, you get a bonus code that you can select at the main menu. For instance, 1. Alien Villagers 2. Small or Big headed Villagers 3. North Pole village terrain 4. Pumpkin headed Villagers and so on and so on. One bonus code for every puzzle. Also, if you hold your cursor over the puzzle, you could get another code. So, 32 codes altogether. Let me know if you like my idea. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE VV3!!!!!! GREAT JOB ON PLANT TYCOON!!!!!!

Wow!! I've just been reading all these posts and most the ideas are great!!! I love the idea of parenting being a skill that does not necessarily include "breeding" (as it was called in VV1). Almost any man and woman can "breed". Only those that work at it can sucessfully "parent". And yes, fathers should take their turns at being a real parent: taking a turn watching the nursing child, helping to teach them, playing with them, etc. I also agree about the weather; at least some rain, heavy wind, occasional hurricane/typhoon. Hunting as part of farming (provisioning should be the title) would be great. I would also like to see some way to include a scroll of names of all villagers who have passed away. Perhaps once the initial 50 graves have been filled a scroll (link) could appear that would take you to a page of all the names of the deceased with their age at time of death. I would really like to keep a complete history on my village Also (and I've seen this mentioned briefly in a couple of other posts) add a puzzle that would be to build a boat and travel to another small island nearby, where perhaps there would be pieces to one or more of the other puzzles. Also maybe they could travel around the island by sea to visit VV1. Possibly even an expansion pack for VV1 so your TLC could visit one of your own versions of ANH. Last, I would love to see not only the mother and father of the children identified, but also the grandparents. That would be awesome, especially if one wanted to keep an island history and geneologies on the islanders. And with the elsewhere mentioned idea of more affection (other than kissing to breed) being shone, it would be great if the grandparents (all four of them) could play more of a part in a child's education, care and general life. Someone said they keep their healers dressed in white to distinguish them. GMTA. I dress my Elders in White, my Healers in Red and my Parents of Triplets in Green. Oh, and would there be a way to create our own clothing designs? That would be great to have more possiblities of clothing.
Okay, I'm done for now. LOL

I would love to see a bigger screen shot of the island. I think it gets a little frustrating when you're hopping around the village trying to locate this and that. I am on a laptop so even pressing 1-9 doesn't really help!! The click/drag gets old, so maybe if you saw something other than like a 4in by 4in screenshot, it would be nice. If you're going to play in "full screen" don't just expand the same shot to morph out and fill up the screen so your villagers look all distorted. I'd also like to be able to find out who is sick - I really hate trying to figure out who is sick. Maybe have a red circle around them instead of the white circle. I'd also like to have something for the pregnant women to be doing instead of sitting on the children that are in school. That's just annoying - especially when you're trying to grab a specific child to collect something and you keep getting pregnant women. Speaking of Children - could our builders make a "school", or just something out of the way of the fisherpeople and researchers. I like the look of this game, the detail. I'd love to be able to have more island events. My tribe has been going for over 20 days and I have only see 10 island events. Everyone mentions you should get one every day - but I never see any. I also would love it if the "humming children" would find a new voice. The giggling, the "wha", the other noises are great, but I have a tribe full of Hummers and its like 0_o*!!! Also, I have had a few villagers do a "rain dance", yet their little dancing never helps, we never see rain! Evening, Morning, Rain, Wind. Those would be fun to incorporate into the game. Maybe watch all your villagers run for cover when the sky gets dark and rains come. Maybe have the dam crack open (provided we have a dam) and the area we'd worked on flood again. Oh - and is there a way to find out who died? I went away for the weekend and um.... kind of forgot to pause or take of 2x... and um, like 14 of my villagers went the way of the dodo - and I would like it if I could go back and find out who died. Oh - AANNDD... maybe have it be less difficult to create an Esteemed Elder. This is the first game I've had more than four - and one I got by way of GONG. Its just soooo impossible to do it when you don't sit on top of the game ALL the time! All my other tribes only had like 1 elder - and then the tribe would go belly up...
