I very much enjoyed VV1 & VV2. I may be repeating some other people (I can't read 75 pages to determine, sorry).

Here is my problem with the game.
Once you win, there is nothing else to do. Playing again doesn't make any sense since you have already figured out all the puzzles.

It would be nice to have many different ways to play the game. Not from my choice, but from the start. Not just berries vs coconuts, but puzzles that are different every time you play the game (or at least the order in which you achieve them are.) Things like which stew has which effect should be randomized at the start of the game.

So either make 100 Puzzles for the game (each one requiring multiple steps). Or show a random selection of 16 puzzles that need to be accomplished out of a possible 100. Or even better have 16 puzzles whose solution each time changes.

Oh, and don't give away the first couple of puzzles in the Tutorial. Creating fire and researching plants was so much of a give away that I felt cheated.

How about multiple areas, where you solve one and a few of your people are moved to the next to solve even more puzzles.

Put a little effort into the game. I would like to have a game that I can play longer than a week.

Agree that finding members is tedious. It would be great if you could get instant stats on villagers just by clicking on them instead of having to scroll thru 100+ to see who is sick/healthy etc.
In VV1, there was a bell you ring at the school which brought all the children running to it, that was a nice way to gather the kids and separate them from the others.

Okay, I don't know about you, but when I only have one item to collect and I spend 3-4-5 days picking up everything that appears to make items appear faster just to look for this one missing item, I get VERY FRUSTRATED. I think that there should be a way of having the children collect points for themselves with each item collected, the more rare the item the higher the points earned. The points earned can enable them to start to look for, and find, items on their own. How about adding an egg series, flower series or artifact series to the collections.

I also feel that there should be more puzzles, it seems that there is a lot of game left even after all puzzles are complete.

I have been reading some of the suggestions and I think they are very good. I like the suggestion about having chickens and collecting eggs. Having pets too is a great suggestion.

love the flower idea! I mean, what kid doesn't love to pick flowers for their mom or dad?

I haven't read all the pros & cons, so I don't know if any one else grew tired of the Golden Child in VV1 & the totem poles in VV2! After an hour of GC's interruptions I restarted the game and GC was never heard of again. RE: VV2 ~ One or two totem poles would have been fine, but they just kept coming... (overkill and visual pollution, in my opinion).
keep it simple and intriguing.

I would like to see the villagers build a raft and travel a bit.Even maybe visit the other side of the island. They could find things out there or even rescue someone or something. Also I love the rain idea and natural disasters and the like. Way cool!

I like the idea of the same outfit being worn by other villagers,at the same time.I changed all my elders clothes into white so I could find them very fast.

Villagers being able to buy things other than tech would be cool. Like they could buy something like "Hard Leafy Matress" You get the point \:\)
