With some assistance from Barbara and Carla at the start, I've finished the game 2 out of 3 times. If I tell you why I couldn't finish one game, this post would then be a spoiler.

I have found, however, that many villagers could use Special Ed. classes. I have my speed set at fast and I can take a nap until certain villagers get to the other side of the screen. I've also found that, in general, most of the women tend to be quicker to learn and they also move around at a normal pace. I now try to juggle things around so that I can hopefully have females to do the important jobs without as much wandering away to other tasks they have done previously. Many od my male villagers have the attention spans of a flea! I also have to try to play the game in such a way that my needed females won't become pregnant at crucial moments.

It's interesting, but I can usually tell who the bright people will be by the way they look...sort of just like reality. I had a 20 year old construction worker who was fat and looked sloppy. He moved like a 90 year old! I knew it! I'm finishing up my game and I have a sprightly male worker that would do anyone proud!

Oh yes, I also "love" it when I make sure that my villagers can fish...only to find out that most opt for foraging which amounts to almost nothing in the food bin. Sigh....

When I finish this game, I'm thinking about buying Plant Tycoon. However, school starts for the teachers right after Labor Day. I may be too involved to go to school if Fish Tycoon is as contagious. I am also waiting for the Village Sim update to come out.
