This is just an observation from playing my game. The farmers dont seem to want to stay on the farm to harvest crops .They seem to prefer harvesting coconuts. My question is, is it possible that the code for harvesting crops isnt set to priorty over coconuts/fishing. I keep having to pull them back to the crops. Because the coconuts are depleted and the ocean is filled with alge. I tried not watching them all the time, but when I go off to do something else and check back in on them they are out of food and the farm has lots of crops to harvest. Cant send you log file because bigfish file doesnt generate a log file for this game. It does for VV1 but not this game. Anyway I can write a script file to over-ride whats happening in the game?

Yes, this is a slight weakness in the AI. Short of watching your farmer like a hawk and dragging him to the crops every time there's not much you can do.

I avoid the issue by not getting L2 farming at this stage. I wait until I've got enough points for L3 as well, then buy them both together. Of course, if it looks as though my villagers will starve, I'll get the coconuts early, but that's only happened a couple of times when a farmer fell sick and food dropped to zero.

Thanks for replying. But I guess I will just have to keep draging him back every time he strays. Wooo wait one minute sounds like real life to me!!! lol
