So what do you do if you have a population of 90 before GC shows up? Wait til the oldest (57) dies and force a mating? Blah.

I know, I had a 77 year old mom already. Just that I'm at max pop and fertility is only level 2 (prolific level 2) so no Golden Child. He can't show up til level 3 and my eldest citizens are still healthy.

You have to complete two puzzles before you can get the GC

You'll just have to wait until you have some room in your population to make a new baby. I won't say more than that without giving anything away, but if you're at max population, you'll have to wait until you have room. You've got a way to go before you have all the critera anyway, so who knows what will happen between now and then.

Well, I in both of my games, I had that "flock of parrots" incident. That really irritated me. Especially since I don't have the GC yet in my second game, and I'm not planning on trying to get him anytime soon. But in my first game, when it happened, I was like, "Well, no biggie, at least the GC can finally make himself useful!" lol.
