Hello! Need a bit of help here.

This is my 2nd try at the game -- the first time around I didn't have the appropriate person to complete Puzzle 12, so I re-started.

This time, I've completed puzzles 1-9 and #12. But despite a population of 65, I've had NO GOLDEN CHILD - therefore puzzles 10 and 11 aren't complete! I try and get the villagers to make some more babies, but my housing is max'd so that's a no go. Any suggestions?

Wait for some to die. Basically all you can do. Tell your healers not to do any healing to speed up the process

Once you have the necessary Village Tech, the only thing that is required for the next two puzzles is patience. Once you reach the maximum village population (you've reached it on your device), you'll need to wait for some villagers to "move to the graveyard" before any more births can occur. That situation is being corrected in the v1.1 update.

The amount of time you have to wait can be unpredictable, and some people have reported waiting many, many hours. I've found that it seems to happen faster if you can leave the game running in the cradle on AC power. Of course, you still have to wait for some villagers to "leave" first.

Since you're trying to kill off some villagers, make sure you've set the game to fast speed!

I had a golden child, and he disappeared out of the game by being dropped on the boulder. Have I stuffed my chances of completing or will there be a Golden Child v2 born one day?

Only one Golden Child is born in a given game. The only chance of recovery is if you have a savegame from before the disappearance that you could load. If you need help determining how to do that, please send me a private message and I'll help you. Whatever you do, don't HotSync your Palm now or you will risk losing any chance of recovering the Golden Child.

Mine has been running for 3 days, I have had 23 people die and still no GC. I'm totally lost......

What version of the game are you playing, and what Tech Levels do you have?

1.0 all techs, 115,000 food. He was just born. literally right after I hit send. Now I just have to find the exact spot for number 12.

Yep! Sometimes you have to wait a long time in v1.0 - some people have waited weeks. Sooner or later, everyone will finish their v1.0 games and nobody will have that problem again!
