You can tell I've been bored lately - I've been waiting nearly five days for the GC to make an appearance, so I've been watching my people run around - and I've just seen the funniest thing.

A female doctor was healing a male patient when a male adept parent came running up to them - his target was the doctor (I hope), but his aim was slightly off and the male patient ran away screaming.

As he was still running, another doctor came up to where the patient had been sitting, and, even though there was nobody there, starting doing his healing tricks. He actually improved his skill.

Nice one - if only you could do this for other skills as well!

Yeah, that's what happens when a "target" moves after a villager has initiated an action. These little people are so single-minded that they don't realize that their patient has moved on to other things. You'll see the same thing when a villager dies and several peeps go to collect the remains. The first one there gets the corpse, and the others stoop down, realize the corpse has moved on, and decide to do something else. There are, of course, other examples.

I've also seen my parent running backwards and forwards past his target. It only seems to happen between the research table and the big hut above it - but it's funny to see her standing there waiting while he does a "should I, shouldn't I" kind of marathon. And he always seems to go for the older women. He runs past the twenty year olds to get to an eighty year old - this is a family-friendly forum, so I'll stop there!!

I have noticed too when a young female "parent" goes after an older male "parent", the female gets to the house first and is usually out of there with a baby before the male even makes it there. Pretty funny.
