Does anyone else think that we should have a "User of the week"...Uh, week? Anyone agree and think its a good idea?

I agree with Krystal, it's an interesting concept. I see two possible drawbacks. First, selecting the criteria (hours spent on line? Number of posts made? What would you use?). The second is the biggest one in my opinion and that would be time from the admins busy schedule to judge the criteria.

Both of these could be overcome, for instance if you use something simple like time on line it could even be automated with the computer posting the winner. I guess I would be in favor of it, but wish you LOTS of luck in getting admin interested in it.

On the other hand, if you use time online, a person could cheat they're way in by leaving the window open.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's an interesting idea. I was just trying to point out a couple of the more obvious reasons why it will be a hard sell to admin.

What I suggest, is that you study a little more on this idea, then when you have a defined set of criteria and a fair means of judging them, that you submit a formal proposal to admin!

The admins will not approve and I am almost certain, although the idea has crossed my mind. If they took away the top posters list, they'll never say yes to this.
