Yes! We should cut funding to the arts! \:\) Because arts are worthless and don't do us any good...

I know how a few people want to be able to see into the huts. Maybe what they could do in VV3 is have the villagers live in open-ended Chickee huts, just like the Native Americans of the southeast USA.

And I am not sure if I spelled "Chickee", as in the huts, correctly.

Also, if we have so many subjects for villagers to gain skill, there's no way the detail screen could fit all of that! The game would also become very complicated. I think that the only skills should be farming, building, researching, healing, parenting, and spiritual leaders. (does funerals, marries couples) \:\)

I think it would be fun to be able to raise a farm when you reach the highest farming level. Along with farm animals, there could be dogs and cats that were lost on the island ( they can be like other villager, with jobs and everything.) Instead of building or whatever, They cold discover thing under the sand. I also think there should be a tech point shop. Once you finished the first two games like I did, you dont need to play. It lost it's fun for me because they could do anything without help. There should be a little more to do at the end thats optional. There could be a point shop after you buy all of the upgrades where you can buy new clothes, animals, toys for the kids, ect.

Idea I like to point out is...

Areas/explore - like Fog of War on Command & Conquer where you have to explore the area to find the enemy make it where when you advance the explore level more Land is revealed \:D this can also make it where you can have more updates of the game too like to add a new area for cool new objects and fun will be available.

Ages of tech - Bronze age to Iron age kind of thing. Make it where you level up a tech like experience Expample being...

Bronze Age(level 1 Tech) -
Exp - 000 - Garden Tools
Exp - 300 - Cutting Tools
Exp - 600 - Fishing Tools
Exp - 900 - Building Tools

Iron Age(level 2 Tech Exp 1,000) -
Exp - 1100 - Rakes(Garden)
Exp - 1200 - Saws(building & Cutting)
Exp - 1300 - Nets(Fish)
Exp - 1500 - Furniture Tools(Tables, Chairs)
Exp - 1700 - Windows(buildings)
....and so on names can be changed and all i just using a example....

Craftsman for a new skill so they can build Tools and Cool little gizmos of sorta plus making furniture like tables and chairs in later tech levels.

Have a Emotion/hunger/comfort On detail to help understand what they need or would like to do.

That is a good idea, but that could get a little confusing to some people.

theres nothing to do once the game is completed in VV1 and 2. so there could actually be and ending in this or reveal a secret or have something to keep people playing. also you may want to add a nursery or something where kids can get there skills up abit. i think having animals is a great idea.. you could make it so there are wild animals aswell that you have to hunt? that could be another skill and a puzzle (making weapons). you could also add a feww more puzzles and increase the age at which the villagers die because if you have many villagers, most only reach master in 2 areas and cannot become an elder. there could be another tribe that sometimes attacks you so you would need warriors and defence..

The music files are located in the sounds foulder located in your VV program folder and listed as song1, song2, song3 and song4 if I remember correctly. They are in the ogg format, so you may or may not be able to play it. It all depends on if you have the right encoder. If you decide to convert them to a mp3, copy out of the folder first.

I just thought of this idea for virtual villagers 3 but it might sound a little dumb but here goes why not have it like an online thing where you can chat with your friends while your playing the game.
