What will happen when VV3 1st comes out? Will there be a noticeable decline in forum use 'cos everyone's busy playing? I have promised myself I will NOT sit for hours at a clip, playing 3, like I did 1 & 2! It became the 1st thing I did when I woke - even before my coffee! I did not read or study or put the TV on, nor did I do much communicating with my husband...the beady little eyeballs were glued to VV every free moment. Not this time...really!!!

Sure, that's what they all say.... I admit to saying it myself, but I guess we all know how well I held to that!

I wasn't here for the release of 1 or 2, but my suspicions are that for a day or two there will be a significant drop in forum use followed by an explosion as everyone tries to look for tips;
post tips; and share their experience.

No, there won't be a decline on the forums. If you look on the left hand side of these forums, you'll find the maximum number of people were on line February 19, 2007. That is when they had the last release.

I will expect these boards will be busy with people asking questions because they're stuck or just want to praise how well the game is put together.

You have a very good point. Like I said, I wasn't here then, so I was unaware of that significant detail. I will certainly intend to be here at least once on that joyful day as I am already drafting my poem to "greet the newcomer."

The suspense is killing me! The joys of VV3 can't come soon enough. I want to first on LB. Should be a lol. I will also anounce my first child ( with a pic of course ).

You shoulda seen when PT whent out. it was crazy. but in my oppinion the forums will stay open so people can ask question and get help with stuff.

But no the forums wont be closed down.

I be here when it is released I was not here when the first 2 came out, but I only came here when I got stuck on the last puzzle, and thats when I found out. this was a great forums and been here ever since so I still not neglet coming here inbetween game play

What I find a bit amusing is that right now everyone is sayin' "Oh, I can't wait" "I need it now".

Come release time say three maybe four days after release, the first few people have rushed through will start askin' "Now what?" "When's VV4 coming out".

Excellent point! I just joined, but there were times, while playing 1 & 2, that I'd have loved to have someone to ask advice or for help with a puzzle. Don't you amaze yourself, tho - even without help, you figure out the game and complete all the puzzles! It will surely be nice to have people with whom I can discuss the game!

Really - that's what I just sai! It will be nice to have people with whom I can discuss VV3!

It is getting frustrating. I check several times throughout the course of the day, only to see "90%" staring me in the face! Hurry up with that VV3!!!

Absolutely, Annthewhofan! I, too, will make a point of visiting between game play. I guess it is what everyone should do, in case someone needs help. I have never been to a forum on a website, where people are more helpful and warm & friendly!

You all made the assertion that the boards will become busier than ever because players will come here for help & just to discuss all the fun they're having...W H E N VV3 decides to get ready to come O U T to play!!! (isn't it getting annoying seeing 90% progress?)How silly of me, to think it would be otherwise! Afterall - that is what this forum is here for...to help & discuss! Duh, Tara...next silly question!!

As has been mentioned, the greatest number of visitors (so far) to the forums was just after VV2 came out.

So far as I can remember, most of the posts were along the lines of:

1. WOW! WHAT A GREAT GAME!
2. How do I ...?
3. When can I download it from [insert favourite games site here]?
4. When will it be available for the Mac?

Although the forums were apparently less busy when PT came out, the same sort of posts were made.

I'm checking all the time too Tara. It seemed to go from 80-90% real quick and everyday I say a loud explictive when I see that it's still at 90%. Can they be more specific??? 94%? 99%??? lol
