1. There should be some rare, hard to make stews using collector items (we collect so many but dont "use" them) which when made can give an islander Master status (a 1 time per islander, per stew deal0. Once all the buildings are built it is very hard to get master status in building. It takes forever to get master status in health or parenting. some of my people spend 1/2 thier life and cant go from adept to master, so alot of my people die before they can get two let alone three master status' to becoming an elder. 2. In the grave yard, old graves should disappear as new ones are put in, once the graveyard fills up. Reason being, by now I have no need to look at the grave of my first elder, but sometimes would like to see who just died while I was away from the game. Presently, unless they were an elder who left behind a new totem you cant tell who died unless you make a data base to keep track. 3. Upgrade the huts, after so many years/days a hut can be upgraded with a porch or doubled in size or anything to give the builders more work. 4. Having a baby should automatically make you an adept parent. and a set number of babys would make you a master. (4 maybe?) 5. Animals would be a great addition but they ought to have thier own catergory of "workers" and mastery. (Rancher or Breeder for example) and each type should be earned by solving a puzzle not just automatically get them, suggestions such as chickens (and eggs) cows (and milk) pigs (and bacon/pork chops) sheep (for clothing hut points instead of research points) 6. Schools should actually keep the older kids busy for a time everyday. The littler ones can still "collect" all the time. School time would go towards Master points to becoming a trainee scientist instead of having to "teach" them ourselves at the table. Kids could care for the animals as a way of becoming a trainee breeder/rancher instead of being taught manually. BTW kids ought to be able to play in the stream and "cool thier feet"
guess that is enough for now lol...just my thoughts on what would make vv3 the best ever

the kids should be able to pick up any mushrooms and collections on their own
seems board is about 50/50 divided on this but maybe a good suggestion would be to let them automatically pick up collectibles once the first one is picked up by the player that way you get the "fun" of working for that collectible but not the tedium of picking up EVERY collectible that ever comes out. as for mushrooms maybe you have to go get the red or special mushrooms but once a child has picked up a mushroom with help from the player they can then pick up a regular mushroom on thier own IF they are the closest to it, so the whole tribe of kids isnt running for the same mushroom.

I'm surprized that VV has no poisonous mushrooms. It would be cool if it did and would make the game more challenging.

1. ...sheep (for clothing hut points instead of research points) They shouldn't have clothes out of wool. Wool is too hot and itchy for a tropical island. They should have clothes out of silk, cotton, of other plant fibers.

I don't know how easy this would be to implement, but it's basically an extension of a feature already in the game. The game should create additional log files for each tribe. It could record the various milestones in a the villagers' lives. Here's the sort of thing I mean (with lots of lines left out for clarity): Sat Mar 29 12:42:33 2008: Isola tribe founded
Weeko becomes a Trainee Farmer Age: 22
Aida becomes a Trainee Scientist Age: 24
Aida becomes an Adept Scientist Age: 26
Baby born to Aida and Weeko
Baby of Aida and Weeko named Hiji Age: 2
Aida becomes a Master Scientist Age: 30
Aida becomes a Trainee Builder Age: 31
Aida becomes an Esteemed Elder Age: 52
Aida becomes elderly Age: 58
Aida dies Age: 72
Each line, of course would have a timestamp, not just the first. Perhaps the file could be saved as a text file in the usual user data folder where the savefiles and LDWLog.txt are but accessed by a button in the UI, perhaps in the options where you can change tribes. Maybe two files for them could be created, an 'active' one and a 'history' one; to the history file the active file contents could be appended at intervals, and on closure of the program and when switching tribes, to minimise the effects of crashes. When the button was pressed the file would open in the user's default text editor and they could, by using the editor's Search function for a villager's name, read the entire history of that person from birth to death, including names of parents and children. If felt desirable, the tribe's milestones, such as when a hut is built, a puzzle is solved/completed, and population figures, etc, could be included.

I really think there should be chickens and other game in VV3. It would make it more interesting and keep food supplies up in the begining.
I love VV1 and VV2 and I'm sure VV3 is gonna be great!

It would be nice to see villagers (farmers) to breed some animals e.g. hens (chickens). Children could pic up eggs likewise mushrooms. The eggs also could be color, small or big, magic and could be used to preparing some new stews. Yes, I like that idea. Maybe you could be able to construct a Pen, to hold animals that you can breed, and gather things from (if there were sheep, you should be able to gather the wool and use it for fabrics) and such. I personally adore animals, and it would be very cool if we had animals. Also, I don't know about you, but I can get pretty bored when I'm waiting for certian things to happen. Animals would need to be taken care of by a Herder, or a Shepard, or someone. That could be another Skill. Maybe there could be an actual school, where children from six to fourteen could actually learn some of the skills that the parents were best at. That would keep them away from the adults, and keep them contained. Another one I thought of is that there could be a Nursery, where once the mothers give birth, they can drop their newborn child off and go and do their jobs for short periods of time. I think that it is somewhat silly to hve mothers have to spend two whole years carrying around a baby, and not do their job. The Nursery could have up to five workers, depending on how many babies there are (each one could handle around eight babies or so at a time). This could be another Skill. Ya, I know I have alot to say, but I might as well do since I am here. This is the last one..... .....Seasons. Certain crops should only be planted in certain times of the year, and animals (assuming that we will have them) should give birth in spring. Also the villagers behavior could go with the seasons, such as in the summer, villigers will tend to hang around in the shade, and in the winter, they will sometimes retreat into buildings for warmth.
