Hello everyone, tis lovely to meet you all

I love these games and am really looking forward to the third installement!

I do have a problem however, I have read of numerous people having issues with villagers sticking in one place....well the one who does this in my game is the Golden Child!

The only time I can get him to even look remotely active is when I place him in the garden at which point he runs to the lagoon and sits down for hours. Wherever I put him other then this he just stands there and does nothing. He has only one restocked the food and has done nothing else at all since he was born this morning so I am scared he will never move the boulder.

Have you guys heard of anyone else having this problem??

The GC will move the boulder on his own will.

Thanks Hannah, but I know that he will. I have read nearly all the threads about him I can find on the internet hehe My problem though is that my GC is not moving at all, let alone moving the boulder!

Does he have any likes or dislikes, perhaps, that would explain his behavior?

He likes driftwood bless his little lazy bum, unlucky seeing as we cleared that up hours ago haahaa, I shall try the only thing I have yet to try and turn the game off and on again....should have done that hours ago methinks! i shall keep you posted.

Well, after hours and hours of being thoroughly confused about this, after turning the game off and opening it up again he is running round like a lunatic doing all sorts of magic! I think he is trying to catch up I am sure he will do the boulder anytime now he is this active!!

Lol. I envy your first predicament. Mine won't stop throwing parties now that all but one of the puzzles has been solved. It's very frustrating.

Question: can the golden child die?

There are some events that will take him away from the game.

That's if he is the 'target' of the event.

He did indeed do the boulder

He isn't all that annoying to me now he is throwing parties and things coz I had left him till last so have no absolute need for people to be doing jobs contiuously!

Now i shall sit like the rest of you biting my nails in anticipation of the third one. I already played the second before the first hehe

My golden child is sooooo annoying, all he does is throw parties and restore crops an dmake magic food but i already have like 1111001 food, i don't need any more.

I sympathize with you on that one. Although, I only have about thirty thousand food, it was still annoying, because he'd continuously make parties, and do things, and it would interfere with what I was trying to have others do (like the last puzzle). Well, I finally got the last puzzle done, and I checked my stats, and I made rank 1 in the puzzles! Still low on the rest though. Anyway, yeah, he gets annoying. On top of it, one of my villagers just found the disappearing thing, and I luckily gave it to the researchers, but, I really wish the GC had found it, because I would have had him do it so that he'd disappear! lol.

How long does it take to finally get the GC? I have all the techs and all the puzzles but the one's involving the GC. and when you do get him, how do you know?
