Yie! Your life does sound complicated and I know what you mean by "playing to unwind" - that is also the reason I play - actually I have solved some "other" problems while I relax at PT. It sort of frees the mind to work in the background.

Uh, that would have to be because I'm the ONLY poet you know!

I know no one believed me, when I said back in Feb that I was new at this, but 'tis the honest truth that up until then, the only poetry I'd done was the kind of corny stuff that I wrote my wife when we were dating.

The truth is that up until recently, my life has pretty much been way to busy to waste with this kind of stuff. It's only since my wife has gotten ill that I've started spending more time at home and getting into these forums etc.

My Mother was a poet, and my Uncle was a poet, but until recently, I'd certainly never considered myself one. I'm truly flattered by the response I've gotten here for my (what the art critics would call primitive or folksy) poems.

Thank you all for the encouragement you've given me to continue exploring this new phase of my life.
