I am a grown woman but when it comes to Virtual Villagers I am a giddy little child. I have been stalking the progress for quite some time now and when I saw 90% complete today I was ecstatic! Only problem now is the anticipation for the release day.

I love both VV1 and VV2 but i found that I beat the game quickly. For me I found that VV2 has a replay value in trying to make a red haired tribe, blond haired tribe & dark haired tribe. Gives me further challenge to continue playing. Just keeps me occupied while waiting for VV3.

What I would love to see is a way for the villagers to re-visit the previous parts of the island discovered and have challenges there to conquer to move on. This will add further excitment and longer game play to the game.

I would also love it if there were a way to see a list of villagers, what they did, who they parented and such after they pass. I find myself wanting to see the see the family tree but only have access to recently deceased villagers and what their trade is.

I love the game, even got my little sister and mom hooked on it... my only issue is that the game kind of comes to a stand still. In VV2 you get the gong, and everything is collected, and im stuck with 96 people with nothing to do. I just wish that there were things to do after everything is done, like unlock more puzzles or something. just something to make the game last longer than 2 or 3 weeks.

2-3 weeks, I beat the first game in about 1 week and the second in about 3 days. I guess not being able to walk away from the game till it is beat makes for less longevity over time. I am a total VV addict!

If the villager are going to be sorted by their last names .. (for example the dad's name is Jacob Martinez and the moms name was rosa Vasquez.. then the kid is Sarah Marines vasquez).. maybe when you are going to get two villagers together since it has already saved their names .. maybe say they cant villagers are brother and sister or dad and daughter(just like how noe it says the villager is too young or they are the same gender)

and maybe if there is going to be marriages say oh villager is already married ..

I LOVE that you can track a villagers parentage when you click on details.
I wish you could continue to track that into adulthood.
And some kind of optional holiday, or season recognition.

I agree, once the game is beat, there really is nothing left to do but let my villagers die. I wish that there was more to do.

I decided with vv1 that I was not going to maintain my village anymore and after about 2-3 weeks I logged in out of curiosity to find 2 elderly women, 3 adult men and a male child. I was so upset when I realized that the tribe was done and there was no ability to produce more children to keep the tribe alive.

As I posted before, I keep going with vv2 by having 3 villages. One red haired village, one blond village and one brunette village. It is getting me by till vv3 comes out. Silly right?

That's not silly. I was doing the same type of things. Like fewest people, village without new huts, no fishing allowed, etc.

What do you do to have only red-haired villagers? I tried once to get all brunettes and still ended up with blondes and red-heads.

I think it would be great if VV had a really complex puzzle that took at least 3 steps to finish. Maybe something like a watermill.
