Well if this is the same thread I posted on it months, maybe more than a year ago! I know the game is already more than half done, but here are my ideas anyway. I am sure most if not all have been mentioned.

1. "Call" button, to call all the villagers of one type to an area. All the farmers to harvest, all the builders to build etc.

2. The kids definatly need some structure, they are everywhere. School, daycare... whatever.

3. Ability to use tech points to buy a "hint" at the next puzzle for those who get stuck. My 6.5 year old plays (explaining the Love Shack was fun) and she would never get the puzzles without my help.

4. I agree, let the moms do something. I have 3 kids, I nursed two of them as long as I could and I tell ya, if I sat around and did nothing all day the house would fall apart... in a matter of hours maybe even minutes! Moms can cook and clean, sling that baby and harvest some food. Moms might get things done a bit slower with a baby, but they can still work!

5. Day and night, need I say more?

6. More oppurtunites for builders and healers to advance. Once everything is built the poor builders have nothing to do but fix the same hut over and over. I have only ever gotten ONE Master Healer and thats because some parrot gave all 92 of my villagers the plague or something. I agree, doctors should be able to research in the hopital, or even provide well baby checkups to the zillions of babies born!

7. The ability to train someone to go get firewood on their own, as well as train the kids to at least collect mushrooms (I like the egg idea too) on their own.

8. Ability to add your own names to a database of names for new babies, so they don't have names like "Titta, Tattoo, and Nono"

9. Teachers, Hunters, Shamans etc would be great

10. A whole island to explore, not just a camp.

Thats all I have for now, I realize its probably too late but I'm bored while waiting for my daughters poor villagers to get a whopping 90k tech points so they can fish before they all die. I help her at night and she thinks she did it all, lol.

Even when a virtual villager has twins or triplets, it says "caring for baby", "washing baby", and so on. Shouldn't it be "caring for babies"? \:\? \:\? \:\?

I take back that surgery stuff I said. It might make the game too complicated.

I would really like it if virtual villagers could have properties such as "more likely to survive a famine" or "more likely to survive a snake bite" or any I haven't thought of. \:D

I'm not sure if it's the same in VV1, but certainly in VV2 some villagers are stronger than others, and are more able to survive starvation than the rest.

They should have a part of the detail screen that says what they will more likely survive and what they will probably die from. Most modern people are immune to certain things.

you so need to let mom's not care for kids for two years(hours), have dads help care for kids, as some ppl have said marrage NO it's funner to have one dad be the father of all the kids but if he( you) favor him with one woman then they can marry.
more jobs: cook, hunter, teacher(must have graduated highest level of schooling and have babysat for 2 years, babysitter(villagers 11-14), clothes designer, writter, poet, potery maker, lumberjack, teacher aid(10-14 for elemarty school and 15-18 for middle school)

Kids:0-4 day care to gain little skill( 4 all skills except for perneting), 5-9 go to elemarty school learn more skills, 10-14 middle school learn more skills so can be adpat when 14 and maybe, maybe high school 4 15-18 for their spare time,

Kid/Jobs:5-14 collect collectables automanicly, 11-14 babysitter, 10-18 teacher aid

Other: pets, ranches, farms, cows(milk, food), pigs(food), sheep(food, wool), seasons, family time, no click the arrow to view ppl statas but list and kids listed under mom AND dad, family huts, MUCH MUCH larger land and burial site( on tomestones have pics of the villager) more names for villagers, more idea of gentics, acces to oline through game and can trade, fight(war, take pisooners of war)

That is my late thoughts of what VV3 NEEDS to have to have me HOOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bye \:\)

and have specific deiease that ppl catch

Very sorry 4 spelling i once failed a test when you have to labe the states of the USA and the names were on the board and I failed that( I know where the states are just bad vision and we couldn't use appr.) Me is smart me in 7th grade and taking 9th grade math and me gifted

I predict April 20, 2008 will be the release date... Just a guess. Thought it might be fun to speculate!

Having said that, I am surprised at how many bloggers complain about tiny details in VV1 and VV2. Come on guys, you wouldn't be blogging on this VV3 site with anticipation if you didn't truly LOVE the games!!!!!

It would be 8\) if villagers could chew sassafras root to clean their teeth like the Native Americans.
