HI Everyone!

I absolutely LOVE Rockmowers poems, and sometimes I get sad because I never wrote an introduction.. so I never got one.

So..
This is the best forum on the web, and I've been here for about a year on and off...

I love to read what everyone has to say, and I spend a LOT of time in the Shout Box. (But I try not to shout too much)

My name is JulieAnn and I work a lot! Trying to keep my villagers away from the coconut tree w/o my boss noticing is my biggest delima!

It's been good chatting with you in the Shout Box. My theory is there are magnets in there... thus the major pull towards it.

You've been here a year
and still love VV,
but in the shout box
is where you mostly be.

I hope in trouble,
at work you don't get.
If the boss ever see's you
he'll just throw a fit!

where swim some mean things,
and stay on Isola
where life is a dream.

Hey Lucas, not trying to start a debate here, but I don't think JulieAnn's post falls in that heading. When Barb said "posting that you aren't a Newbie anymore" I think she was reffering to
a post specifically to announce that you have moved from newbie to trainee status. I may be wrong on this, but that's how I read it or I wouldn't have responded to her post.
I do thank you, though, for reminding us of the rules.

Rockmower, I believe lucas was referring to dogylover21's double-posting on this thread. She wasn't referring to JulieAnn's thread as a whole.

it is funny, I never 'introed' myself and i get jealous when I see all those nice poems. So I know how JulieAnn feels.

=) I actually posted when i became a trainee.. i was so excited.. then i read the rules and was like oops!

Sometimes it is hard to remember that the forum is not a chat-room

I love the fact that we have introductions on this forum, it makes it so nice, it's so hard to be accepted on a lot of forums.

Well, heatherndan, you (both) should post an introduction. Personally I think my poem is the best one rockmower has ever written.. but i'm sure he will do a nice job on yours! lol!

1: Yes, Heather you should. I have decided I won't write intro poems unless there's an intro posted. I do make occasional exceptions, like if a newbie is confused and posts their intro in the wrong thread, But it must clearly intended as an intro.

2: Uh actually, I think the best poem I've written on this site was my "Tribute to LDW." which is located somewhere deep in the files of general discussion. As a purely egotistical thing, I know the staff enjoyed it, but it never really got the support from the forum members that I thought it would. If anyone's interested, it's located Here (assuming I did this right)
