I tried that F6 thing, and it worked, but then I started punching other buttons on the keyboard, just to see what they'd do (if anything), and I didn't think anything happened. Apparently I was wrong, because now I cannot see the words that are supposed to appear at the bottom of the screen saying, "200 berries left" "Villager sees..." "5,304 tech points", etc.

What did I do, and how do I fix it?!

Edit: It must have been a temporary glitch from messing around with the buttons. I shut the game down, and restarted it, and it so far seems to be OK now. I'll update if it becomes a problem.

Thank you for your attempts to help. I did get the problem solved (see my first post, under "Edit").

The only things I pressed were the "F" keys (F1, F2, etc.). But, like I said, the problem is solved.
