Why do the females nurse longer than they are supposed to? When it says they are nursing for 0 minutes, they still end up nursing for at least 5-10 more minutes after that? Does this happen to anyone else?

It happens to everyone. There are a lot of discussions about it in both the VV1 and VV2 forums, and it's annoying. That's just how the timer works (or doesn't work, depending upon your point of view).
