quite often, some of my peoples name will change. {without me doing anything}

Yes it's a little glitch that may happen when you close and open the game several times (I think). Some villagers get the name of the one who is just after or just before him in the details screen. That's annoying because you have to rename them!

I've had that happen before. Luckily, I've often remembered what the name was suppose to be and fixed it.

It's a glitch. It's happened to me before.
