I have looked at everything (more than once) which is why I finally posted the question. It didn't help any! This might not unfortunately be the game for me. I didn't think it would be THIS difficult!

BTW: The setting is on easy and 1/2 speed.

Someone FINALLY got pregnant and I FINALLY got enough tech points (spoiler here?? highlight to read)to grow some crops!! Hurray!!
