I only lack completing the gong and uncovering the 10th puzzle,
i need one more level of exploration to have all the techs
why have I had so very few of the island events?
and also so few beetles and pebbles?

Hey Patricia. When you start a new game you should get an event within the first hour of play. After that they generally come every 24 (real time) hours.

As far as the beetles and pebbles, all I can say is keep playing. They will catch up to the others, but it takes time.
