I purchased the Plant of Curing and noticed that, unlike other tank accessories, it does not appear in the selling tank. Is that an oversight, or is it intentional (sort of a handicap for using the selling tank as a breeding tank)?

It is intentional, mainly because when the selling tank has all of its ornaments in place, having all the plants in there would just make it too crowded.

You can think of it as a small handicap for 'misusing' the selling tank...

I'm just mad because I bought the plant, but then a fish that was in my first tank the whole time got fungus! Luckily, I caught it in time and cured him, but still, I thought it was supposed to protect against fungus!

Sorry, but there is no 100% guarentee that what ever you have in the tank will prevent ick or fungus. All the plant does is to help prevent the sickness.

Hope this helps,

This thread was started over 3 years ago (one of several from selected beta test posts), and applies only to the Palm and Pocket PC versions of the game. Fish Tycoon for Windows was released more than a year after this thread was started. \:\)

Hey wait a second.

Remember in VV1 when that man asked to collect plant samples?

I guess thats where we get the plants for our little fishys.

Anyway plant of curing really helps me for those rarer purple fish that always get sick in my older tanks.
