2 Funny Breeding Observations

The first one isn't very funny, just something I noticed. When the villagers breed and start heading toward the hut, you can immediately click on the female and check her health status. If she is going to get pregnant, it will say "nursing" even before she gets to the hut! The second one just happened to me. One of my older male villagers was trying to breed with a younger female. The old guy walks so slowly that the female went into the hut and exited before the old guy even got there! I wish this had more sounds, I could just hear him calling out to her "hold on there missie, slow down!"

one thing I think is hilarious, is how the male, before and after going indoors, rapidly changes directions over and over, making it appear that he's dancing about. lol

He is dancing! The women dance, too!

hehe.
ok, i just noticed an odd relation between my Kukua(19 and caring for baby) and Onawa(3)
when i'm zoomed in on Kukua in the "maternity ward", the small area of the background behind her glitches and turns either white, or another land color. then, when i go to the map view, a whole section the size of the research hut glitches over her. it shows the same picture of wherever Onawa is.
Does this happen to anyone else?

I usually say "deaths/burials" because that's the most common cause. Any villager deletion (including disappearances - another bug) can trigger the "trails bug" as it's come to be called.

Has anyone seen a mysterious woman almost spirit-like at the beginning of the game? I clicked on her in the grave yard because I meant to drag her over to the field to work but when I clicked on her she disappeared. She was so beautiful. She had silvery-brown hair and a gorgeous lavandar dress that seemed to blow with the wind.

I once had two villagers breed but on the way to the hut the female died (didn't check her health prior). The male went his merry way however and did the same as usual.

Yep! That's how it works. If you watch the population counter next time you breed on purpose, you'll see that the outcome is immediate when they're successful. The "going indoors" part adds interest to the game, but is unnecessary for making little villagers.

Here's a funny one. I was trying to get a girl pregnant. Each time she would kiss but the population counter didn't go up, I would just pick her up and try again. After a while, I decided to try her with a different male, who happens to be a runner, and left the first male to "go indoors" alone, poor guy. After a couple tries, she finally got pregnant. Well, as soon as I released them from the kissing fest, the father ran for the hut. He got there just as the first guy was entering. It must have been pretty dark in there, because those two entertained themselves quite nicely and were just finishing up when the girl finally arrived and went in to retrieve her baby. Hm.

OIC! Thanks! I wonder if this is the oldest still-active thread then?
