Shalom; First I am both honoured and humbled by your comments. My first few tribe didn't do that well either. In Song of Spice, every one died except 10 year old Spice and 29 year old Dan. They went on to have five daughters before Dan died. There was even a baby in a crate; another girl. Sadly, because their were no males, all died.
I put one adult at the research table, the other working on the hut. The young ones I have fish until the hut is finished and/or they can't any longer. I often cross-train so that everyone works at the research table to raise tech points. My secret; I miro manage my tribe. And even then, on Hard, you will face touhger events, but it is worth the challenge.
