I am having to work harder at this game because I am now trying to finish it on the hard cycle. Since food seems to be so important here, I find myself wondering about the crop cycles. I have not been able to determine, by observation alone, whether the length of time that the field, or bush has produce is determined by time or quantity. In other words, If the field is full of crops and I put all my villagers to harvest, will it cycle out sooner?
Is it better to ration the amount of crops so I can have a longer lasting field? The same question about the berries. If I put one villager harvesting berries, will the bush stay full longer, or is there a finite amount of berries, and no matter what schedule I forage them on, they will disappear when this magic number is reached.
