Unagi is indeed "eel" in Japanese...I've also had Ahi (type of tuna) and Ichi, which is the number one in Japanese, and Nishi, which means "West" in Japanese. Pretty cool. I also like Keiki, which I think is "children" in Hawaiian?

That's funny about the frog!

Oh yeah, and "Obi", while a favorite of the Star Wars crowd I'm sure, is actually Japanese for the colorful sash, or belt, that is worn with the formal Kimono robes.

I still laugh whenever a VV gets the name Bobo. I like Zen too. I get a lot of Sevens for the males.

An FYI - I went to a baby name site on the internet. They have names according to origins like Polynesian, Thai, Tibetan, Sanskrit, Japanese, etc. So, they're exotic names and really good for the VV's. Plus, they give the meanings. Because I am so obsessive-complulsive about this game, I wrote down a lot of the names I really like so I have them handy when renaming villagers.

Here's the site:
Baby Name Network

Being a Tibetan Buddhist, I'm partial to the Sanskrit and Tibetan names, but there are so many really nice names under all the origins.
