Often I have mothers who nurse overtime. The time goes down in 3 minute intervals. Have you been pausing the game a lot? That can interfere with the countdown. Leave it for say half an hour without pausing, and see if that works...

Yes, the countdown clock does seem to be rather inaccurate. When the clock goes to 0 it means there are at least 3 minutes to go, and often more. As Merryanna says, pausing the game seems to affect the clock.

She'll probably let go of the baby eventually! I know, sometimes it seems to take forever.

I have a girl thats 25 she has been farming since she was 14 and her bar will not go up.I moved her to reacearch table and same thing.She just will not gain skill.Whats up?How do I get her some skill.I have 3 games open.1 is compleate,2nd need to finish collactables 3rd I started a few days ago.

Have you watched her to see if she is ever successful at a task?

i have a question about something i think might be a glitch....... i have completed all the puzzles and am just waiting to complete my collections. i have roughly 70 villagers at any given time. i have MANY totems from my many esteemed elders (i would guess i have at least 50 totems... prob more, but i am not going to count them. i just have them all stacked behind the graves)... anyway the question - i have about 6 villagers right now who have mastered at least three skiills - but they have not gotten a totem, and they have not received the rank of esteemed elder... is that just something that happens at the end? can you only get so many totems? why arent they upgrading??

You can find the most recent of many discussions about the 50-elder limit here. It's such a common question (complaint?) that we have an answer in our Support FAQ about it.

That can be a manner to know that you do have 50 totems! the other manner is to look at your stats, it says: "Village Elders:..."
