1) How do you know who your Alpha Male is?

2) When do Island Events come? I seem to get some on a few of my villages, but none on another. If the game is off when an event is set to come, will it wait till I turn the game on again?

3) Does the selection of main occupation effect the sounds of the villagers voices? I ask because one woman I randomly chose to be a breeder has the sultriest "Hey" I've ever heard. \:\) Plus-her only like is "the dark". I find that very funny.

1) when some female are select as parent, if there is an Alpha Male, they all chose him to embrace! So he is every time "waiting for somebody" instead of working!! It's the only manner to know it!

2) There is an Event every 24 hours, maybe a little less. If your tribe is in Pause so there is none.

3)I don't think that the villager's occupation has any effect to his voice!!! \:\)

For the first question: Alpha male - oh yes, one of the things that are special for this game. But I sure enjoy it anyway.

As already said, events happen about every 24 hours. If you turn the game on (say) 25 hours after the last event you would get a new event, then the next would be 24 hours after that. However, if you wait 48 or more hours before turning the game on, you would only get one event. The game doesn't 'catch up' and the events are 'lost'.

The sounds are random, decided when the villager gets an adult 'voice'. Their occupations don't make a difference.

And, if people want to see the maximum number of events from their game, they can always check the game log every time they play and "do the math" to see when the next one is scheduled (yes, they are scheduled). I explained here how that works.

The scheduled event will be seen the next time the game is launched after the scheduled time. In all of my work with VV, I've seen the time between events be as little as 10 hours, so checking the game more frequently will help you see more events.
