Hello! I am enjoying playing Village Sim (my 3rd sim from the LDW folks, can't wait for the next!!) But something odd and frustrating has occurred. I put my Palm (Tungsten T3) in the homebase to recharge and upon powering up, I found my beach covered in debris again! This was the first puzzle I solved but now it shows as "not solved" on the puzzle list, though the picture is still there and it shows 4 of 12 puzzles finished. Should I clean it up again, or not? It took forever last time so I hate to waste the effort to do it again if I don't have to!!

well, the first thing that comes to mind is that you had an "island event" during the night. Sometimes in a game, you may see that event 2 or three times! This is a perfect opportunity to train that master builder if you don't have one!
Barbara may know if this is a different problem, but go ahead and clear that beach again since you will need the ocean in the future..... and they can't use the water with a dirty beach!

Like Tigger said, if you get the "Debris washed up" island event, it shows that puzzle as being unsolved in the puzzle list. When you clear the beach again, the puzzle list will update with the new time.

We don't want to keep the villagers from swimming, do we!

Thanks - I've had the builders clean it up and now they are fishing! I didn't realize events would happen without some kind of notice, like when the barrel of babies washed up on shore. That was fun! I had just lost five original villagers to old age and was down to three adults who wouldn't breed, so they were a nice addition.
