I have a question about the elders. Can they die at any time? or do they have to be sick/weak? I had one yesterday that was at full health, and when I logged in this morning he craoked (I'm so bummed about that too, he was mastered in farming and building *Cries*)! I made sure I had 2 master doctors checked before I logged out for any just in case reasons, but could his health have gotten that bad over night?
Now I just need to rant for a min. about my kid! I started one tribe over about 4 different times because I messed up in one way or another (example: I killed off all the men!). I finally gave up for a while and let my daughter start a new tribe, and she was not only blessed with a runner but she was able to double her population and figure out a few of the puzzles that drove me just about nuts trying to figure them out (the lagoon, the flower garden, and the fish in the lagoon). And she did all of that with out me helping her! I swear she is making me feel like one old fart, that can't figure anything out anymore! ok I'm done hehe

Well, as it will say in the beginning, when you open up your game, Villagers can die of stavation, sickness and plain old age. So if your villager was old or just getting up there in age, they tend to die off. As far as your daughter is concerned. Well, kids can be so much better at this stuff than we are. But we have something over them. We, well, at least I did, had to dial a phone... WITH A ROTARY DIAL and we know what a record player was. Oh, I was supposed to be making you feel better, huh? lol... sorry...

It's likely too late now, since the game log has probably already been rewritten, but this could help you next time a villager dies.
You can check the game log to determine exactly why your villagers died, as well as to learn many other interesting bits of information about what your villagers were doing while you were away. The game log is recorded in a file called ldwLog.txt and is located in the Virtual Villagers folder in Program Files (for Windows) or in the game folder (for Mac OS). If you have trouble locating the game log, search for ldwLog.txt using your operating system's search function. The game log can be opened in any text application, such as Notepad in Windows or TextEdit in Mac OS.
A villager dies whenever their remaining health reaches zero. Villagers can also die of old age, even when their health is not depleted.
The game log can be very helpful in such situations, if you check it before it's overwritten. The game log is overwritten each time you launch the game, so it has to be viewed immediately after you quit the game. If you wish to preserve it for later viewing, you should rename it or copy the file to another location.

I have a question, why are my villagers always complaining? I mean, I let them take breaks, I let them eat all the food they want, and I let them go in the pond, but they always go to the eldest villager and complain. What is wrong?
