Is anyone else having trouble refreshing their stats? I've been getting the 'Are you online' message for a couple of days now.

I just checked it, and the server is functioning properly. You might have a look at this answer in our Support FAQ to see all of the possible causes for that message.

Hmmm-I know I'm connected to the internet, it's running fine and at high speeds. The server isn't down. I doubt it's just being slow since this has been a problem of a few days.

So the only thing from that list that might be is security settings. My virus program has updated recently, but I don't have an outgoing firewall. And I have no idea how to tell the security settings to let the game access the internet. Do you know?

It depends upon the security and/or firewall software that you're using. Most of them come with pretty good help files that should help you.

Try quitting the game after a failed refresh and launch it again, which will allow the game to try to establish a new connection to the server.

Also, if you're running the game in full screen, try changing (via Options) to windowed mode before trying to update. A message from your security program that might otherwise be hidden should then be visible.

It's the same for me! as I said above (in "improve...) I think it's the server as it happened before time to time.

The server is functioning properly right now, so it's not a server problem.

i just updated VV2 fine , but VV1 won't update
that has been happening for a couple of days now.
any ideas as to why , one will up date but the other wouldn't ??

I retried again, it's the same!! I didn't change anything in my computer so I don't know why it works once and not another time!

I just updated on vv1 and it's working fine today.

Please see the FAQ answer that I linked to earlier in this thread. If those suggestions don't help, then there's nothing that I can do. The server is working properly.

I've done everything the faq suggests, my firewall has VV listed as being permitted to access the internet, but still have this problem.

But not with VV2. Any idea why it would work on one, and not the other?

No idea at all. We purged the stats in all the databases this morning, and everyone is reporting a significant improvement in server response.

i just got to update my vv1 stats ! and now i am # 25
