It's really "fixing" a hut. On some devices the font is a little difficult to read. And that activity is not related to puzzles - it's like doing laundry in that it's just something you need to do in a village.

Heh, I believe it's 'fixing hut' but when I first saw it I too thought it said 'axing hut.' It was just after a male breeder had gone inside with his second partner, and his first partner (jealous maybe?) was the one doing the 'axing.' I was afraid I was about to have a tiny horror movie on my hands!
