"Lots of good ideas! Love to see more livestock...I would also like to see something a little "darker" - like a thief in their midst. We'd have to do a little detective work or something, and once found, the thief would be sent off of the island in a raft to make his/her own way. It maybe could even be a puzzle."
Can't wait for the release! I'm ready to play. yea that would really great!

I think there should a chief After reading suggestions about stews in the earlier post, I misread that as chef. Then I thought, "Why not?" Perhaps you could train a villager to become a cook in rather the same way as doctors are at present. He could be taught to prepare stews (and perhaps other meals) more or less on his own, without needing to be dragged everywhere. Some of his meals could be good, some bad, rather as the stews are now, with his choice of ingredients random. However, as he worked his way up towards Master the meals could become more reliably good.

I think that if LDW is wise, they will keep the fire for VV3. Did they have a fire in VV1? (I never played VV1.) If they didn't, that's absolutely discusting, especially since many people have suggested hunting. They would have to eat raw meat without the fire! Eww... SO KEEP THE FIRE, LDW!

If there's a chef, it shouldn't be a seperate skill in the detail screen. Chefing should gain farming skill. But that's not a bad idea, arnie.

Oh, and without a fire you couldn't have any stews! And just pointing this out: Why's the stew cauldron next to the fire when preparing a stew instead of hanging above the fire?

I wondered that about the soup cauldron too, toxicsteweater. It does seem kind of odd.

There was no fire in VV1. And it was one of the suggestions made for VV2. Hopefully, the fire will stay, along with the stews and even the skill of chef (as just been suggested.)
