i downloaded vst and i transferd some of my seeds included my five magic plants then saved it and when i opened it up i found all my seeds i tranferd are all gone now everytime i open vst a cant see any of my seeds that i transferd any ideas why this is happening

Did you keep opened the PT game and the VST in the same time?
If yes, I'm afraid that you have lost your seeds

Did you start more than one game? The VST will open under whichever game you last played.

Yes, that can cause you to lose your seeds. There are several warnings in the post that contains the instructions for the VST about the importance of not running Plant Tycoon and VST at the same time.

i feel very badly that you lost your seeds.

when i was writing vst, i found that if i kept PT and VST open at the same time, i could "cheat" and make duplicate seeds. The "fix" that now prevents this has the unfortunate side effect of what happened to you. that is why I wrote all those warnings that LadyCFII mentioned above.

But even so, i (and i'm sure LadyCFII also) feel very badly that you lost your magic seeds. I hope you are able to recreate them.

read over the warnings (essentially just don't save things in VST while PT is open) and again, i apologize.

if you don't feel comfortable saving seeds in vst, which i could understand after what happened, you still might find the chart in vst useful.

I learned the hard way ... but it only takes once to learn to CLOSE PLANT TYCOON BEFORE OPENING VST ... eek!!! I'm glad I read the posts early on.
