Hello I'm new to the boards but I have been lurking around now for about 2 weeks, learning about the games ect.
I have a question I have been trying to complete the boxed gong piece and didn't realize until too late that it take 3 master builders. I have already built all the structures 3 huts, and hosp. and don't have 3 master builders only 2. Is there any way to get more building experience or is it a bust and I wont be able to complete the puzzles with this tribe.
I have a second game in which I fixed this mistake.
Thanks for your help,
Anne

the only thing to do is to put your villagers on the huts and to make them "fixing the hut" (not examining). When a villager makes exercice, he improves his buiding skills (if he succeed) a little so you can make a stew that makes them exercice.

PS: clearing the thorns and the vines gives them some building skills, if you didn't already make it

Welcome, Anne!

Your builders can still gain experience if you set them to "fixing" a hut. Just drop them on one of the three huts or the hospital - but make sure they are "fixing" the hut, not "examining" - that doesn't give any experience. It can take a while, though.

Thanks so much for your help and the welcome. I'll get them working on it. The exercise thing is cool too, I'll go look for the recipe. Sounds like it would be fun to watch too. They have already been "jumpy" that was funny.
Another odd ball question, if I give them a stew that makes them sick, can the Doctor heal them and get healing skill? Its sound kinda risky but the population is getting crazy anyway, lol

Yea, unfortunately that works ... but there are much better ways to train doctors besides making the villagers sick ... even some events come up that require extensive healing, and the gong can always bring a bad event that needs them ... why force it? This is just my personal opinion, but I don't like to think of making ANYONE sick just to further my own desire to get master doctors quickly. My heart overrules my head lol.

Its very funny to watch them exercise and everyone does it too, nursing moms, little kids. Some swim, some power walk and some lift boulders. I got a little kid that was born with builder skill to become and apprentice builder by exercising. Works great, thanks for the tip.
The sick stew works too and no one died. Would have to do it a lot to really move the skill bar, tho.
I wish they had percentages instead of those bars, its hard to tell how much more skill is needed to become masters.
